About the Role: Registered Nurse required to join Geriatric Evaluation Management (GEM) ward on an ongoing part time basis. GEM unit offers nurses clinical challenges and the opportunity to use their skills and make a difference to our elderly patients. The ward offers 24 GEM beds. Essential Requirements for the Role: Applicants must be willing to work a rotating roster including weekends. In return staff can expect to be a part of a dynamic team and be exposed to an enormous amount of education opportunities. To make a strong contribution to the team you should possess the following: • Passion to work with elderly patients • Sound clinical knowledge and assessment skills • Flexibility to work a rotating roster The GEM ward would welcome applications from a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration. It is expected that applicants will have recent experience in either subacute or acute care as well as being committed to providing patient centered care. Why Melbourne Health?
