We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Clinical Haematology team. This is a (Full-Time, Fixed Term) position, working 80 hours per fortnight, based at Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre.
Your Opportunity:
• conduct a gap analysis to identify the quantum of work that might be necessary to meet required standards for successful application to the Foundation for Accreditation of Cellular Therapy
• will work closely with all members of the Clinical Haematology team in particular Senior Medical Staff, Nurse Consultants, Donor Co-ordinators, Ward Nursing Staff, Apheresis Staff and Laboratory involved with the delivery of cellular therapies
• The role represents a career enhancing opportunity to be involved in this rapidly evolving therapeutic area in cancer care
About You:
Qualification: Laboratory Scientist qualification recognised in Australia
Key Selection Criteria
- Experience in haematology and cellular therapies
- Significant experience in laboratory practice and quality management of stem cell transplantation and/or similar interests
- significant knowledge and experience in quality management of stem cell transplantation and/or similar interests
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Proven analytical skills
- Well-developed report writing skills
