- Monday to Friday - Community Position, Full Time 80 hours per fortnight including ADO
NorthWestern Mental Health (NWMH) has a multi-disciplinary workforce of over 1,800 clinicians and provides a comprehensive, integrated range of services to people with a serious mental illness in North-Western Melbourne. NWMH is a clinical service of Melbourne Health and operates in partnership with Northern Health and Western Health.
The Aged Persons’ Mental Health Program provides information, support and specialist mental health services to older people aged 65+ years. The APMH service is committed to working with consumers during their recovery by offering holistic and evidence based treatment, which is inclusive of family/carers and provided by clinicians with well-developed skills.

- You will be the Key Clinician with a caseload of consumers, using a range of generalist skills to provide mental health assessment and intervention and discharge planning
Your Contribution:
- Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
- Relevant experience in a mental health and/or aged care setting, preferably in Aged Persons Mental Health
- Strong commitment to consumer-focused service delivery
- You will approach their role with an occupational lens, and contribute positively to the multidisciplinary team, providing clinical expertise regarding the occupational support needs of consumers, via secondary consultation or direct discipline specific work, as required
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound clinical knowledge and decision making ability
