The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.


We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Medical Imaging team. This is a Full time position, working 80 hours per fortnight (including ADO), based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital – City Campus.


Your Opportunity:

  • Spread over both The Royal Melbourne Hospital and The Royal Melbourne Hospital Private Imaging
  • The MRI service performs approximately 28k examinations per annum
  • Assist with the daily operation of imaging services
  • Incorporate specialized areas to meet the needs of our public and private referral base
  • Oversee and participate in the clinical training of undergraduate, intern and Grade 1 Radiographers

 About You:  

  • MRI experience with a proven record of producing high quality images
  • Awareness of all aspects of MRI safety as they pertain to the practices of Medical Imaging
  • Knowledge of and compliance with relevant registration and licensing requirements
  • Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiations (or equivalent)
