About the Role:
We are seeking a Ward Clerk to join our dynamic and consumer centred acute mental health team.
The Midwest Mental Health Service Adult Acute Inpatient Program is a newly expanded 29 bed service which provides therapeutic support for Mental Health consumers on their path to recovery. The service includes a state of the art Intensive Care Area designed to enhance therapeutic approaches with consumers; and a short stay Psychiatric Assessment and Planning Unit.
The role of Ward Clerk at The Midwest Mental Health Service Adult Acute Inpatient Program is to deliver a professional and caring customer focussed service, often as the first point of contact and communication for patients, their families and visitors. The Ward Clerk is responsible for the clerical and receptionist duties of the ward/department, coordinating the physical and telecommunication traffic throughout the area, the maintenance of patient records and the accurate data transmission of patient movements.
