The Royal Melbourne Hospital treats 4000 trauma patients every year, with up to 1000 of those being classified as Major Traumas. We have recently increased our service to patients with two new operating theatres.


We have numerous Part and Full Time positions available for Registered Nurses who can work in a dynamic, busy ward with the multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care. 


Your Opportunity:

  • Collaborative leadership team includes the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), Associate Nurse Unit Managers and Educators
  • Education support and guidance to encourage the development of knowledge and clinical nursing skills
  • Promote patient advocacy, health promotion and teaching

About You:

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing And Midwifery Board of Australia 
  • Demonstrated provision of high quality patient care, with a minimum of 12 months of acute clinical nursing experience 
  • Demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary health care team
  • High motivation and willingness to learn
