About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse to coordinate this high quality Graduate Nurse Program. The Royal Melbourne Hospital Graduate Nurse Program is very highly regarded and has over 110 graduate nurses in the program annually.
As a member of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Nursing Education Department you will be responsible for recruitment into and promotion of the Graduate Nurse Program as well as anticipating and responding to the needs of both the graduate nurse and the clinical environment. This includes collaborating with the numerous key stakeholders to provide a positive learning experience for these nurses as they make the transition from undergraduate nursing student to registered nurse.
The applicant should be able to demonstrate both excellent interpersonal skills and high level organisational skills, be innovative, autonomous and thrive on the many challenges that a role of this nature presents.
A post graduate qualification in education or nursing is necessary, as is experience in a formal nursing education role or coordination of programs.
