An opportunity exists for the role of Divisional Business Manager, Critical Care and Investigative Services (CCIS), overseeing a budget of approximately $100m and around 950 EFT

The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Make valuable contributions to the Royal Melbourne Hospital Finance Business Services team.
• Be a member of the senior divisional management team.
• Take responsibility for providing highly complex and business focused advice to the division.
• Undertake the role of expert in the management accounting and business analysis fields.
• Make judgments and decisions on a range of complex financial situations.
• Ensure that an efficient service is provided to directors, senior managers, budget holders and external stakeholders at all times.
• Employ forensic accounting methods to analyse complex business opportunities for the division.
• Make business decisions that will require a clear understanding of the principles supporting the risk management process of Melbourne Health as well as the impact on the Division's Income and Expenditure position.
• Develop strategies that will maximize Melbourne Health’s financial position through effective co-ordination between income/funding, expenditure and business management.
