The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.


We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Radiographer team. The position is seeking Radiographers for employment on a casual basis.  Casual staff may be rostered to Mon-Fri shifts, out of hours and weekend shifts.


Classification of this role will be dependent on experience.


Your Opportunity:

  • To join a Radiology Department that provides a 24 hour/7 day a week service, undertaking over 210,000 medical imaging examinations annually. Modalities include MR, CT, Ultrasound, General and Trauma Radiography (CR/DR), Theatre and Mobile Radiography, Angiography and Fluoroscopic procedures as well as Mammography.
  • To join one of the most highly regarded medical imaging sites in Australia, recognised for its high standards and the quality of staff employed.
  • To use state of the art equipment and work alongside over 130 highly trained Radiographers and Sonographers.
  • Training across acute clinical areas

About You:

  • Experience in General Radiography with multi-modality experience
  • Have good clinical acumen
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to provide positive patient outcomes by providing a high level of patient care and outstanding imaging quality using state of the art equipment and highly trained staff.
  • Current registration with AHPRA and current Victorian Radiation Licence issued by The Department of Health.
  • Committed to training, education and CPD activities which are fully supported.
  • Previous experience in an acute clinical setting will be advantageous.
