A unique opportunity to join one of our acute surgical wards – 2 West Specialising in Reconstructive Plastic, Head and Neck, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Full-time and Part-time, ongoing positions available. 2 West is a 20 bed surgical ward dedicated to the management of elective surgical patients under the specialities of Reconstructive Plastic, Head and Neck, and OMFS. We are aiming to offer post graduate studies in 2024 mid year.
We are seeking specialised Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team on 2 West, those with past clinical experience in any of the specialities would be very favourably looked on or an experienced acute care nurse ready to learn about these specialities would be the ideal person to join our team.
Your new role:
- Provide comprehensive and holistic nursing care to surgical patients.
- Perform nursing interventions and procedures in accordance with the Royal Melbourne Hospital policy and procedures
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality person centred care.
- Ensure delivery of safe, timely, effective, person-centred care
About you:
- Well-developed range of clinical skills in Plastics or Head and Neck and OMFS surgical nursing or willingness to learn.
- Dynamic and adaptable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to practice collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team.
- A high level of reliability and professional conduct.
- Motivated and willing to adapt to a changing environment.
