Procurement Manager - Services & Equipment

Full Time position including ADO

 

The opportunity:


You will help lead Melbourne Health through a period of transformational change, building key relationships whilst bringing in strategic procurement and category management principles. This is likely to be a career defining role.

You will lead a Services & Equipment Procurement team, manage flagship sourcing projects, drive process change and build up a close partnership with the business.

The role will involve analysing spend and consulting widely to determine the most viable strategic category plans that will deliver robust commercial outcomes. Alongside this is a need to help redefine procurement processes and improve efficiency and customer perception.

About you:


The role will be diverse and challenging. It requires a highly commercial mind, strong influencing, and problem solving skills, adaptability, high energy and determination. Experience of managing and motivating teams is desirable.

We require someone who has experience of working with and influencing senior staff, and who thoroughly understands and can articulate their knowledge of sourcing services and equipment for a large organisation.
