The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Speech Pathology team. This is a Full Time Fixed Term position, working 80 hours per fortnight.

Your Opportunity:

 

An exciting opportunity exists for a 12 month fixed term clinical role within the RMH Speech Pathology department. Working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, the Graduate Speech Pathologist will be responsible for the assessment and management of a predominantly inpatient general medical caseload. The Speech Pathology department has a multitude of programs such as a regular peer support program to allow new graduates to successfully transition into the professional workforce.

Administrative duties include timely documentation and entering of statistics, safety and service improvement activities and other projects, as determined by the department members.

  • Eligibility for membership to Speech Pathology Australia

Please note interviews will involve a 2-stage process with a video presentation and face-to-face interview.
