A Job To Be Proud Of:

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of a program of quality and performance improvement activities across the NAMHS and monitor its effectiveness
  • Actively develop and promote the direction of the Quality Improvement Program and foster a culture of quality within the NAMHS with emphasis on consumer and family-focused services and outcomes.
  • Support and facilitate consumers’ use of resilience and strength so that they
  • Lead the accreditation process for NAMHS in collaboration with NWMH and Melbourne Health
  • Develop and coordinate the use of audit tools to enable service evaluation
  • Manage and ensure utilisation of KPI reports at NAMHS Executive Committees (Clinical Risk Management, Evaluation & Service Improvement, Executive (Operational)
  • Ensure informal and formal complaints/feedback systems are in place, monitored and reported

 Your Contribution:

  • Knowledge and experience in all aspects of psychiatry and mental health service systems
  • A communication style that shows respect for consumers and their families/carers, and an ability to manage relationships across the organisation
  • Demonstrated skills in interdisciplinary working and the development of effective relationships with consumers, carers and staff
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and manage quality improvement programs within a complex environment
  • Experience in mental health/ Health services evaluation, data extraction and analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership and strategic thinking
  • An understanding of the philosophical foundations, processes and environments that support recovery
  •  Knowledge and ability to facilitate consumer and family/carer participation at all levels within the service
