We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Palliative Care Unit, based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Your Opportunity:
RMH Palliative Care and Supportive Care Unit are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our specialist team of Doctors, Nurses and Allied Health professionals. This twelve bed specialist unit provides care for patients requiring symptom management, complex pain management, end of life care and discharge planning with the support of community based palliative care.
About You:
- Provide safe and effective patient-centred nursing care
- Work as part a team with members of the allied health team in the planning, implementation, assessment and evaluation of care within the unit
- Demonstrate and ability to ensure optimal outcomes for patients of the unit through the promotion of evidence based practice
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients and their families
- Commitment to professional development
