Opportunities are now available to work with the team specialising in Plastic Reconstructive, Head & Neck Trauma Surgery.

The Royal Melbourne Hospital treats 4000 trauma patients every year, with up to 1000 of those being classified as Major Traumas. We have recently increased our service to patients with two new operating theatres.

Your Opportunity:


We have numerous Part and Full Time positions available for Registered Nurses who can work in a dynamic, busy ward with the multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care. 

  • Provide high-quality standards of patient care. This includes the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation for care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team

The 7 South East collaborative leadership team includes the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), Associate Nurse Unit Managers and Educators, providing friendly education support and guidance to encourage the development of knowledge and clinical nursing skills.

Your Contribution:  

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing And Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Demonstrated provision of high quality patient care, with a minimum of 12 months of acute clinical nursing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary health care teamHigh motivation and willingness to learn

Selection Criteria Essential: Current APRHA Registration
Essential: A minimum of 12 months of acute clinical nursing experience
Desirable: Plastics Head & Neck Trauma Clinical Nursing Experience
Essential: Current Surgical Experience
