We are looking for passionate and dedicated individual to join our dynamic Cardiology team. This is a Part Time position, working 48 hours per fortnight, based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, City Campus

Your Opportunity:


Our Cardiology Department currently consists of 2 labs with plans in progress for a 3rd lab.  The Cardiac Cath Lab operates Monday to Friday as well as providing a 24/7 on-call acute service.  The role encompasses 50% clinical teaching time and will additionally support the rotation of post graduate nursing students rotating through the labs with a competency based program.  The role will focus on

  • Education and clinical development of all new staff members
  • Regular educational in-services of current and new equipment
  • Best clinical practice around a patient centered care framework

About You:

  • Highly competent and able to work as team member within the multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to educate the nursing team for best practice nursing standards, clinical practice and safety requirements.
