Casual position as required
• Availability for morning and afternoon shifts including weekends
As a casual employee you will be required to cover for: Annual Leave, Long Service Leave, Sick Leave, Maternity Leave and Public Holidays.
Responsibilities:
• The distribution and collection of all patient meals
• Food and beverages preparation
• Basic food preparation including plating and heating of meals
• Cleaning duties / use of industrial dishwasher
• Attending all mandatory training and department meetings.
• Delivery of meals to various wards / Delivery of Morning and Afternoon Tea
The successful Candidate must possess the following:
• Current Food Handlers Certificate (Health HLTFS207C)
• Contribute effectively to a team environment and independently as required
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
• Be reliable, self motivated and have a friendly nature
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Effective communication skills
• Demonstrate a great work ethic and attention to detail
• Must possess flexibility to cover for leave
