 Health Information Manager

  • Full Time, Fixed Term Position - 12 months
  • 80 hours per fortnight, including ADO
  • Lead new initiatives and continuous improvement

As the Health Information Manager you will provide guidance and leadership in the collection, use, evaluation and management of health information across NWMH. The Health Information Manager is a key resource and contact person in relation to the process development and adherence to the standards for the management of health information.

As a member of the NWMH Planning and Informatics team, within the Quality, Planning and Innovation Unit, you will ensure:

  • Health information management systems undergo a continuous process of evaluation and improvement to enable continuity of service delivery across NWMH and in accordance with Health Information policies and procedures
  • NWMH captures client information and data that meets the requirements of the Department of Health and NorthWestern Mental Health
  • Health Information will conform with Accreditation Standards, Australian Standards for Health Information Services and Statutory Requirements
  • Relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders are built and maintained to ensure that the goals and objectives of NorthWestern Mental Health are met

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and activities and continuously prioritise
  • Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated ability to make decisions
  • Project managementt experience
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders around meeting objectives
