The Department of General Medicine is offering a limited number of Advanced Trainee positions to Doctors who are either seeking to complete training requirements in their current area of training or who are seeking to gain further training within General Medicine.

Reporting to the newly appointed Head of Service in a structured training program, you will have the opportunity to rotate through services and subspecialty including Neurology, Intensive Care Medicine, Cardiology, Infectious Diseases, Respiratory, Palliative Care, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Epworth General Medicine and Cardiology & Renal/Nephrology at Ballarat Health Service.

About you:

• Completion of Basic Physician Training
• Strong supervision and leadership skills
• Extensive experience in providing professional supervisor and mentoring to junior medical staff.
