The role of the NWMH Safety and Inclusion Project Lead (S&I Project Lead) is an exciting part time role (0.5EFT) working closely with the Manager Quality Planning and Innovation, Family Violence Specialists and the Safety and Inclusion Committee to implement the work relating to the Safety and Inclusion portfolios including Working with Families, Carers and Children; Gender Sensitivity and Safety; Gender Diversity and LGBTIQ+ Communities; Trauma Informed Care; First Nation's People; Culturally and Linguistically Diverse people; People with a Disability and, more specifically in the areas of Family Violence and Child Safety.

About you:

  • You will have relevant experience working in mental health and understanding of the mental health service system
  • Have a sound understanding of the family violence and child safety legislation and service sector
  • Prioritise person centred care
