This is an exciting opportunity to work as a member of the Infection Prevention and Surveillance Team where your focus will be on overseeing our emerging infections program.


About Us:

The Royal Melbourne Hospital is the Victorian designated service to receive and care for adult patients with suspected and/or confirmed Viral Haemorrhagic Fever (VHF). As the primary co-ordinator of this evolving program you will be responsible for facilitating the personal protective equipment competency-based training, conducting scenario-based team building exercises and participating in emergency management exercises to ensure the organisations readiness to fulfil on its commitment.

 

About You:

You will need to be a dynamic and proactive self-starter who possesses excellent communication skills and is able to engage with a diverse range of healthcare professionals. Previous experience in project management and developing and delivering education programs would be considered an advantage.
