A Job to Be Proud Of:
The CMHL Social Worker Educator position will provide leadership and support for the mental health Social Work workforce (and may also provide collaboration with other staff supporting Social Workers) working in Victorian mental health services. The role will establish and coordinate mental health social work education, opportunities, and support the establishment of statewide networking structures.
This role will be responsible for liaising with social workers within mental health services and other relevant stakeholders, building relationships, identifying and facilitating strategies that address the Social Work workforce learning and development needs. Some travel and out of hours work may be required
Your Contribution:
- You will be a passionate and committed individual who values collective contribution and works from a values-based and strengths approach
- An approved degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- At least 7-10 years experience in a clinical mental health service
- A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, and/or demonstrated industry experience in designing and delivering training
- Successful experience in leading projects, teams, service development
- Demonstrated experience working with large and diverse groups of stakeholders
