Transplant Surgical Fellow
Division of Cardiovascular, Renal and Endocrine

Division of  Surgery, Perioperative, Trauma and Surgical Oncology Services


The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individual to join our Nephrology Surgical Team. This is a Full Time, 12 month Fixed Term position, working 76 hours per fortnight, based at RMH City Campus.

Your Opportunity:

• Work as part of a multi disciplinary team as a member of the Nephrology Surgical Team and the Dept. of General Surgical Specialties.
• To particfipate in patient care, teaching, education and clinical reserach

• To participate in a range of specialist general surgery roles commensurate with a tertiary referral centre and level one trauma care.


About You: 

• Accredited member of F.R.A.C.S

• Accredited by the transplant training program 

• Possess required experience and knowledge of emergency general surgery and trauma surgery

• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Proven abilities in all other aspects of Nephrology

• Proven ability in research
