The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Aged Care 3 team. This is a Part Time Fixed Term position, working 60 hours per fortnight, based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Park Campus.

Your Opportunity:

 

In AC2 we strive to provide the best possible holistic care for the physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of our patients. AC2 staff are committed to the compassionate care of people, respecting all ages and cultural backgrounds. AC2 is a 24 bed Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) unit. We offer a progressive and rewarding environment for those who are passionate about GEM. We are seeking someone who can work in a dynamic, busy ward with the multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care.

 

About You:

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing And Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Demonstrated provision of high quality patient care
  • Nursing experience with either acute or subacute care
  • Demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary care team
  • High motivation and willingness to learn
