Biomedical Engineer

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our Clinical Engineering team. This is a Full-Time, Fixed Term position, working 80 hours per fortnight, based at RMH City Campus. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team environment with a focus on learning and development.
The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
Your Opportunity
- Work in a varied environment on a wide range of hospital equipment
- Contribute to the exceptional patient care through the maintenance of medical equipment and services
- Participate in preventative and corrective equipment maintenance
What you'll bring to the team
- Formal qualifications in Engineering (Biomedical)
- Current driver's license
- Well developed customer service and personal skills
- Concise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and explore technical solutions
