  • Part Time, 24 Hrs per week, 12 Month Fixed Term 5/7/21 – 1/7/22

  • Join a supportive hand therapy team and large Hand Therapy Department
  • Grade One learning opportunity in plastics and hand therapy –part-time, fixed term
  • Busy trauma centre at Royal Melbourne Hospital

We are looking for a suitably qualified Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Clinician (Grade 1) in this exciting opportunity to join a busy and enthusiastic team who prides itself on providing the best care to clients and the organisation.

 

  • Grade 1 Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist with emerging clinical experience and skills in plastics / hand therapy
  • The clinical caseload is largely traumatic injuries both in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
  • Work alongside a senior clinician and Grade 2 OT in leading the treatment and management of this complex patient population.Clinical education and professional development is encouraged and supported.

Your Contribution

  • Current professional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Clinical skills in comprehensive assessment, intervention and discharge planning
  • Ability to manage a demanding workload, and effectively prioritise tasks
  • Demonstrated interest in clinical area of hand therapy
