Social Worker Grade 1 Entry Level Position

Adult Mental Health Community Team 1 (RMH) 14 months

The John Cade Adult Acute IPU and Community team 1:

  • Is a caring, cohesive and dynamic multi-disciplinary team who values the specific contributions of social work to the recovery of our consumers with challenging and complex mental health presentations as well as to the leadership of our team.  
  • Offers rich opportunities to develop your skills as an Entry Level Social Worker in the provision of evidence-based interventions in individual, group and family settings.
  • Offers Entry Level Social Worker opportunities to develop your career as a social worker within and across the mental health field.

We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated new Social Work Graduate to join our service.

Working predominately Monday to Friday, the Social Worker Grade 1 will work independently as well as support other staff in the delivery of service in both an acute and community setting.

 

As part of the social work group at IWAMHS, you will participate in regular supervision, have access to high quality internal and external training, be able to contribute to the development and delivery of social work and family interventions (individual and group-based) for consumers and families referred to our service. You will also be part of the NWMH Social Work Entry Level Program.
