  • Our Speech Pathology team is looking for an exceptional Grade 2 Speech Pathologist (Acute)
  • Part Time 32 hours per fortnight
  • The Royal Melbourne Hospital – City & Royal Park Campus

The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. Your Opportunity:

 

An exciting opportunity exists for a clinical role within the RMH Speech Pathology department.

 

Working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, the Grade 2 Speech Pathologist will be responsible for the assessment and management of an acute inpatient caseload.

 

The Speech Pathology department has a multitude of programs such as a regular peer support program to allow new graduates to successfully transition into the professional workforce.

Administrative duties include timely documentation and entering of statistics, safety and service improvement activities and other projects, as determined by the department members.        

 

Additional Information:

  • A degree in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership to Speech Pathology Australia is required.
  • Tracheostomy and Videofluoroscopy comptency is essential.
  • Please note interviews will involve a 2 stage process involving a screening interview via telephone
