Graduate Certificate of Nursing Practice (Perioperative)

 

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals interested in completing a Perioperative Graduate Certificate of Nursing Practice (GCNP) to join the Royal Melbourne Hospital. This is a Part Time - Fixed Term position, working 64 hours per fortnight.

 

The Royal Melbourne Hospital is offering a 12 month Perioperative Post Graduate Nursing course in conjunction with our affiliate partner Deakin University. This course follows an established professional development framework which supports nurses in developing specialty knowledge, skills and professional behaviours required within the Perioperative specialty.

 

Applications are now open for the GCNP (Perioperative) course, conducted in collaboration with our affiliate university, Deakin University. This course is open to Registered Nurses who have successfully completed a Graduate Nurse Program. 

 

About the Program:

  • Enrollment into a Master of Nursing Practice through Deakin University is required, with exit points at Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma levels.

  • Program length is 12 months.

  • The Nursing Education Department including experienced, passionate and dedicated Clinical Nurse Educators will support students in this transition into perioperative nursing.
