The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

 

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Radiology Reception team. This is a Part Time position, working 32 hours per fortnight, based at our City Campus.

 

Your Opportunity:

  • Perform patient bookings and provide appropriate patient preparation information
  • Perform reception and general office duties, including patient registration
  • Enter patients billing information in Radiology Information System
  • Professional answer phone enquiries
  • Deliver results and images as directed by the referring doctor or patient
  • Any other duties that may be delegated from time to time by Admin Supervisor.

About You:

  • A strong customer service focus
  • Office administration experience
  • Ability to prioritise and multi skill workload
  • A positive attitude towards Radiology Reception duties and the Department
  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal, verbal, written and organisation skills    
  • Flexibility to work in all reception areas of Radiology department and effectively as a team member
  • Computer skills and MS office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook)
