Coronary Care Unit (CCU) is part of the Cardiovascular Renal & Endocrine Division. It is a 26 bed unit with 6 acute CCU beds, 4 step down and 16 Cardiology Telemetry beds.  It is a busy unit with over 180 separations per month. The patient mix is both elective and acute.  Annual budget of $5.7million and EFT of 45.7


This position provides visible and accessible clinical leadership by working alongside the team and with patients in a supervisory capacity to ensure the delivery of safe person-centred care. 


Essential Requirements for the Role:

  • Registered Nurse, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Post Grad Certificate in Cardiac Critical Care or equivalent
  • 2 years Management experience
  • Extensive clinical experience and expertise in a relevant clinical/service field

Selection Criteria Essential: Post Grad Certificate in Cardiac Critical Care or equivalent
