• Deliver training and development to minimise and manage clinical aggression
• Collaborate with MOCA Coordinator to reshape the Management of Clinical Aggression Program
• Deliver a sustainable and comprehensive training and education program


The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Management of Clinical Aggression (MOCA) team. This is a Part time position, working 40 hours per fortnight, based at City Campus, however working across both City and Royal Park campuses.

Your Opportunity:

• Facilitate the delivery and implementation of the MOCA training program
• Encourage and support a multi-disciplinary team focus in the management of Clinical Aggression 
• Engage all staff and stakeholders in the implementation of risk reducing strategies related to MOCA and de-escalation

About You:

• Registred Nurse with current credientials as a MOCA Trainer and understanding of current aggression prevention and management strategies
• Demonstrated skills in training and facilitating education
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
