Graduate Certificate of Nursing Practice (Intensive Care)
We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals interested in completing an Intensive Care Graduate Certificate of Nursing Practice (GCNP) to join the Royal Melbourne Hospital. This is a Part Time - Fixed Term position, working 64 hours per fortnight.
The Royal Melbourne Hospital is offering a 12 month Intensive Care Post Graduate Nursing course in conjunction with our affiliate partner Deakin University. This course follows an established professional development framework which supports nurses in developing specialty knowledge, skills and professional behaviours required as critical care nurses.
Applications are now open for the GCNP (Intensive Care) course, conducted in collaboration with our affiliate university, Deakin University. This course is open to Registered Nurses who have 2 years post registration experience.
About the Program:
- Enrolment into a Master of Nursing Practice through Deakin University is required, with exit points at Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma levels.
- Program length is 12 months.
- The Nursing Education Department, including experienced, passionate and dedicated Clinical Nurse Educators, will support students in this transition into critical care nursing.

- Cover letter addressed to the Post Graduate Nursing Program Coordinator stating the program being applied for and preferred intake date (1st November 2021 or 14th February 2022)

- Most recent academic transcript results
- Contact details of two (2) senior clinical referees (i.e. NUM, ANUM, CNE)
