Pharmacy Store Technician

About the Role

You will work closely with the medication procurement and distribution team to provide an efficient and fundamental pharmaceutical delivery service to various areas within the hospital. Whilst undertaking the Certificate III in Health (Hospital Pharmacy Technician), you will acquire comprehensive knowledge through training in the dispensary, clinical team and sterile and manufacturing suite. Your strong commitment to learning, team work and organisation skills will enable progression to a hospital pharmacy technician rotational role within our department.

 

Duties

  • Manage the supply of medicines to areas throughout the hospital
  • Assisting with inventory and storage monitoring
  • Contribute to stock control and claiming for medicines
  • Deliver high quality patient focused pharmaceutical care
  • Dispense medicines for patients

 

Skills and Experience

  • Attained VCE through completion of  Year 12 or equivalent
  • Proficient  computer literacy
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Sound written oral & written communication skills
