- Family Safety Project Officer
- Part Time Fixed Term Parental leave position
- 40 hours per fortnight until March 2020
The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Family Safety team. This is a Part Time Fixed Term position working 19 hours per week.
Your Opportunity:
- Provide secondary consultations to staff and patients experiencing family violence issues
- Provide Family Safety training across the hospital
- Assist with organisational, reporting requirements and implementation of EMR, information sharing and Child Safe standards, that pertain to family violence and hospital services.
About You:
- Bachelor Degree in social work, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech pathology.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant clinical experience
- An interest and/or experience in assisting clients experiencing family violence
