We are seeking an experienced Respiratory and Sleep physician/s to work 6 sessions per week (42 hrs per fortnight) for 6 months Long Service Leave cover in the Department of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine.
The department provides treatment to in-patients and outpatients with acute and chronic respiratory and sleep conditions.
The position involves participation in the in-patient service, attendance in sleep clinics and sleep/Resporatory laboratory reporting.
Clinical leadership to small multidisciplinary teams is required in these duties.
There is also a responsibility for the supervision of advanced trainees and other junior medical staff. Involvement in the department’s teaching and research programs is strongly encouraged. Participation in the afterhours on-call roster will be required.
The position requires a physician with respiratory and sleep medicine accreditation, a track record in teaching and research, and a demonstrated vision for quality improvement and the capacity to contribute to innovation to service development.
