We have two exciting Opportunities for Enrolled nurses (medication endorsed) to join our team at North West Community Care Units (CCU).

We are seeking two highly motivated Enrolled Nurses with medication endorsement to join our team who have a sound working knowledge of and commitment to the Recovery framework.

 

The North West Community Care Units provide 24 hour community based residential care to people who experience long term serious mental illness and disability within a Recovery framework. Residents require high levels of clinical support and intensive rehabilitation.

 

The successful applicants will work as part of the multidisciplinary team in delivering a high standard of evidence-based recovery focussed nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Enrolled Nurses – medication endorsed assumes responsibility for their own practice based upon their level of educational preparation and competence. The role incorporates the following activities: supervised clinical practice and patient care, assist in facilitating group programs, patient health promotion and teaching, patient advocacy, collaborative patient and unit management and preceptorship to undergraduate nurses and other Enrolled Nurses. There may be allocated shifts and duties within our Prevention and Recovery Centre (PARC) to support an integrated model.
