Pharmacist Technician

  • Grade 2 or 3 Pharmacy Technician - dependant on experience
  • Multiple fixed term positions until mid 2022
  • Varied role working through dispensary and the manufacture of aseptic products
  • Part time and Full Time opportunities available
  • Centrally located at RMH City Campus in Parkville

Your new team

Join a team of dedicated pharmacists and technicians in delivering patient focused services throughout our operational teams.  

 

You will work closely with a team of highly specialised pharmacists and technicians to deliver patient focused services to RMH patients.  Your strong commitment to team work, flexibility and organisation skills will enable you to operate across the various technical roles at RMH.  Your commitment to further education and research will be supported.

Your success in this role, will be in your ability to

  • Deliver high quality products for patient care
  • Assist team leaders to manage and coordinate the team to achieve patient focused KPIs
  • Supervise training of pharmacists, technicians, interns and students
  • Maintain and update standard operating procedures
  • Contribute to stock control and claiming for medicines
  • Contribute after hours and weekend services
  • Produce aseptic and cytotoxic products for RMH patients

Your Contribution

  • Certificate IV in Health (Hospital Pharmacy Technician) or equivalent qualification
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Highly developed computer skills
  • Sound written oral & written communication skills
