  • Full Time, 12 Month Fixed Term position (Parental leave cover)
  • No Shift Work or weekends with family friendly hours
  • 80 hours per fortnight, including ADO

The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.


The Opportunity:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our Clinical Centre based at Royal Park Campus.


You will be:

  • The direct line manager for a small nursing team
  • Ensuring a safe and positive work culture in line with MH Policies, Procedures and Values
  • Ensuring all clinics are well supported through rostering, nursing team skill set, procedural assistance, Emergency Responses, stock & asset management and room set up
  • Maintaining required MH data requirements e.g. VINAH, HHA, ANTT, mandatory training, local KPI’s
  • Performing clinical interventions such as venepuncture, male & female catheterisation and wound care
  • Providing support and guidance for various SACS multidisciplinary staff
  • Initiating and participating in quality improvement activities
