3 South West (3SW) is seeking Registered Nurses to join the ward for a number of fixed term contract opportunities.
This is a great opportunity to develop surgical skills. The surgical patients on 3SW provide an opportunity to learn about critically unwell patients in a supportive environment. The educators and senior nursing team are able to maximise your learning opportunity. The patients may be from the Emergency department with abdominal injuries or admitted for elective surgery. This means you will gain some experience in nursing the trauma patient. There will also be an opportunity to learn about the specialty of stomal therapy.
The successful candidate will be a committed nurse/s with at least one years experience in the acute health care sector. Experience in a specialty field or a post graduate experience would be welcome.
Applicants are encouraged to contact Ruth Harper, 3SW Nurse Unit Manager on 9342 7955 for a confidential discussion including length of contract, preferred availability and hours.
