Dietitian - Grade 2

  • Full time ongoing position

We provide care to our patients within the acute, subacute and community therapy services across all speciality services. The department is supported by the Clinical Nutrition Manager and is committed to providing evidence based, patient centred care. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated dietitian to join our Clinical Nutrition team.

The opportunity:

  • To work in a dynamic Clinical Nutrition team in one of Victoria’s largest tertiary Teaching hospitals.
  • Act as a consultant on nutrition to medical, nursing, food service and other health professional staff of The Royal Melbourne Hospital as required.
  • Actively maintain standards of nutritional care for all patients.

About you:

  • Qualified dietitian eligible for full membership of the DAA.
  • At least 3 years clinical experience in the hospital setting.
  • Well organised, efficient and a fast learner of new systems.
  • Positive attitude and a team player.
  • You have broad clinical experience.
  • Experienced in student/staff supervision.
