Your Opportunity:


An exciting opportunity exists for a highly experienced and motivated Physiotherapist to join the musculoskeletal team of the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Parkville. We are looking for a passionate clinician and leader who can continue to develop and advance the Musculoskeletal and advanced practice Physiotherapy Services. This role includes provision of clinical care within the musculoskeletal physiotherapy and advanced practice physiotherapy services primarily in outpatient roles. This grade 3 role also encompasses leadership and operational management responsibilities across the musculoskeletal physiotherapy service and more widely across RMH. This is a Full Time Fixed Term position, working 80 hours per fortnight (including ADO).

 

About You:

  • Broad relevant clinical experience in a musculoskeletal setting including in Advanced practice physiotherapy clinics
  • Strong leadership skills including team management and supervision and education of grade 2 and junior physiotherapists
  • Quality and research focus to contribute to the strong research portfolio within the department.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop relationships with relevant stakeholders and team members from allied health, nursing and medical teams.
