Neurosciences Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing

It provides general and specialist services and offers an exciting opportunity to further your specialty nursing skills through Post Graduate study. 

About the Program

Applications are now open for the Neurosciences Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing program. The Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing is conducted in collaboration with our affiliate university, Australian Catholic University. This course is open to Registered Nurses who have successfully completed a Graduate Nurse Program.


The course consists of four (4) subjects specific to the area of study undertaken. Subjects are delivered through a variety of teaching modalities, including lectures, tutorials, clinical simulation, online learning and worksheets. Assessment consists of assignments, clinical practice portfolios and reflective practice. 

Length of course

Program length varies, however if you enter the program as a Grade Two Year Two Registered Nurse, the program must be completed over two years.


Applications

 

Application’s should include a cover letter addressed to the Post Graduate Nursing Program Coordinator, clearly stating the stream being applied for, a curriculum vitae, your most recent academic transcript, and the contact details of two clinical referees.


Applicant are to nominate their preference of specialty of Neurosurgery or Neurology within their cover letter. 


All applications will be assessed on letter of application, curriculum vitae, academic results, clinical experience, references and interview.
