We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Nurse to join our homeless team as a Mental Health Clinician.

  • Homeless Outreach Mental Health Housing (HOMHS) is a cohealth led consortium comprising cohealth, Inner West Area Mental Health Service and Launch Housing.  
  • HOMHS provides support to people who experience severe and enduring mental illness and have a history of repeated homelessness.
  • The service provides a pathway to better health, secure housing and increased social and economic tenure. HOMHS offers assertive outreach utilising the Collaborative Recovery Model, Care Coordination and expertise in the areas of mental health, housing, women’s specific needs and primary health.

  • We specialise in providing consumers and carers with serious mental illness: assessment, diagnosis and appropriate evidenced based treatment

Your Contribution:

  • Qualified RPN3
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of psychiatry and/or alcohol and other drugs
  • Committed to developing your practice as a professional in clinical mental health
  • Function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and enjoy working autonomously
  • Confident in the provision of support and treatment for people experiencing drug and alcohol related issues and their families
  • Excellent organisation, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software use and information technology on the Microsoft Windows platform and ability to learn new programs and navigate databases
