The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

 

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our Pain Management Service. This is a Part Time Fixed Term position, working 32 hours per fortnight, based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Park Campus.

 

Your Opportunity:

  • Assessment and provision of individualised physiotherapy care plans
  • Provide evidence based bio-psycho-social best practice
  • Provide comprehensive individual assessment and intervention
  • Participate in our educational and exercise group programs
  • Work with the Multidisciplinary team to ensure best patient care

About You:

  • Physiotherapy Bachelor’s Degree and professional body registration
  • Previous experience treating people living with persistent pain
  • Excellent assessment skills
  • Experience in providing patient education, both individually, and as a group
