The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care. 


We are looking experienced and motivated Cardiac Technologist to join our dynamic Echo team.  Full Time working 80 hours per fortnight, including ADO0

The primary role involves working in the Cath Lab performing hemodynamic monitoring for a variety of diagnostic and interventional Cardiology procedures as well as working with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIED).


Your Opportunity: 

Specialty services include Adult Congenital Heart Disease, complex Electrophysiology and Structural Cardiac Interventions (TAVI, percutaneous pulmonary valves, mitral clip).  The CIED program at Royal Melbourne Hospital services the local Melbourne metropolitan area as well as regional areas in Shepparton and Albury.  The CIED program includes aa wide range of case and devices such as CRT-P, CRT-D, S-ICD and his bundle pacing.


About You:

  • undergraduate Science degree
  • 2+ years of experience in Cardiology
  • Previous experience working in the Cath Lab
  • Previous experience in implants and follow up  of Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and modelling of interdisciplinary
