Your new team

 

The Centre for Mental Health Learning is the central agency for public mental health workforce development (including lived experience workers) in Victoria, supporting access to quality, contemporary learning and development.

 

At the Centre for Mental Health Learning:

  • We are a team working together to strengthen mental health workforce development

  • You will help us support major reform in mental health services
  • You will be supported to use your strengths, and grow your skills

Your success in this role, will be in your ability to

  • Co-lead consultation with diverse stakeholders 
  • Collaboratively develop systems and processes pertaining to the project 
  • Project management - develop and maintain project plan, and work to timelines 
  • Produce high quality written reports  

Your Contribution

  • Lived experience as a family member or carer of someone who has experience of accessing or trying to access publicly funded mental health services 
  • Experience working in a dedicated lived experience role in public mental health in Victoria 
  • Understanding of the needs and issues for lived experience workers working in clinical and community mental health services 
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with an ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external)
