Your success in this role, will be in your ability to

  • Provide education in infection control associated with the cleaning and maintenance of The Royal Melbourne Hospital – both City & Royal Park Campuses
  • Provide a culture of learning and support to achieve best practises while ensuring infection control guidelines
  • Develop, implement and evaluate learning and development programs for staff
  • Identify opportunities for improving the quality of Environmental Services provisions
  • Understanding of Australian Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Infection in Healthcare

Your Contribution

  • Certificate 3 in Health Patient Services, a PSA, PCA certificate or equivalent Certificate 3 in Health
  • Experience in working in infection prevention/control or as an Infection Prevention Champion
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
  • Familiar with the use of PC windows including Word and Excel
