The Connecting Care Program and Parkville Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
The Connecting Care EMR Program is a digital partnership between Melbourne Health (MH), The Royal Women’s Hospital (RWH), Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac) and the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) to transform patient care and research in the Parkville precinct.
Connecting Care will expand the cutting-edge RCH Epic EMR to operate across the four health services, creating one powerful shared clinical and research system and setting a new benchmark for EMR technology in Australia.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our EMR team.
Your Opportunity:
- Provide support to the Executive Director EMR and EMR Directors across the Parkville Precinct.
- You will support the senior management team with the executive duties and interactions required for the program across MH, Peter Mac, RWH, RCH and other external bodies and work collaboratively with the existing EMR Project Management Office (PMO) team
About You:
The successful applicant will have:
- Executive support experience ideally with project exposure;
- Exposure to high paced and quickly changing project environments;
- Highly developed organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritise workloads, ensure timely delivery of services;
- Driven and results-orientated, with a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude;
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and anticipate the needs of the Executive Director and management team;
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate and interact with senior internal and external stakeholders;
- Sound judgement and an ability to recognise and respond appropriately to issues and situations requiring confidentiality or professional discretion;
- Sound computer literacy, with advanced skills in using Microsoft Office programs along with a demonstrated ability to understand and adapt to new electronic processes and programs.
