We are looking for passionate and dedicated individual to join our ANZKX team. This is a Part Time, Fixed Term position, working 40 hours per fortnight, based at RMH city campus. 

Your Opportunity:

  • Work as part of the ANZKX team to maintain the operation and delivery of Australian and New Zealand paired kidney exchange program
  • Liaise with local and national transplant centres to ensure the appropriate registration of donors and recipients, in line with ANZKX program criteria
  • Ensure the continued suitability of registered donors and recipients
  • Facilitate surgical review of identified matches and negotiation of appropriate surgical dates  
  • Provide logistical plans and solutions for paired kidney donation surgeries
  • Supervise and coordinate organ transport during paired kidney donation surgeries

About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing with a post graduate qualification in renal desirable
  • Previous experience in coordinating live donor renal transplants
    Demonstrated organisational skills, ability to coordinate tasks and set priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills appropriate to deal with a wide range of complex and sensitive issues
    Demonstrated tactful communication skills, both verbal and written
